MARCH 24, 1979
8 LB. 2 OZ.
Of course, we can't believe it....but, our first baby boy is 30 today! WOW where does the time go. Time flies when you are raising children and then all of a sudden they are NOT children and they are adults and then we really can't believe we are parents of a 30 year old !
I'll add pictures soon ~ I've got lots of good 1st baby pictures. Lincoln was a beautiful baby, lots of light colored hair, round little face with the prettiest eyes and eyelashes. He was a very good baby and very contented with eating and sleeping like a new born should be!
Lincoln was born in Baytown, TX and had a traumatic birth as he rushed out all at the same time.... head first, then shoulder then other shoulder.....all 8 lb. 2 1/2 oz. at one time rushed out! Guess he was in a hurry to be born OR the Dr. didn't do a good job in getting him out easier. Lincoln was in distress and they were in a big hurry to get him out and into safety. Mom got the worse part of this delivery and had to have 4 pints of blood replenished.....long story but this is a very memorable day for me as well. My sister, Joni and I discussed this morning that had I died that day ~ David would have raised Linc alone and there would not have been a LeJoy, Landon or Lexis OR Cooper and Kayla. So, this is a VERY significant day for ALL of us!
A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR SON LINCOLN....may you have many, many more birthdays son. Enjoy your 30's as you continue along your life's journey.
We love you and we will celebrate this weekend since you were out of town this past weekend!
