Happy Birthday Lexis......none of us can believe you are 18 today! We all remember the day you were born and how quickly you popped into the world! You are beautiful and sweet and such a joy to all that know you. God has blessed us greatly with the gift of Lexis in our family.
One of my favorite stories is when we arrived at the hospital that Sat. morning, Lincoln (12) ran into the lobby and told the Receptionist that his mom was having a baby and needed a wheel chair! I remember being upset with him for doing this as I'd never gone to labor & delivery in a wheel chair before! The funny part is the Receptionist thought how silly Lincoln was to rush in and ask for a wheel chair for his mom...she came upstairs on her break to see how far along I was and found out.....that kid was SERIOUS...his mom WAS having a BABY! Lexis had already been born....she came in my room and said 'that boy wasn't kidding was he?' Lexis was born a little short of 30 mins. after we got to the hospital!
