Well we have another Hurricane in the Gulf churning and churning and working it's way toward Louisiana or Texas it seems.
Please pray for our Truhett Family in Gulfport, Mississippi as Katrina hit there 3 years ago yesterday!! I never dreamed that the huge columns and red brick walls on First Baptist Church Gulfport could be washed away by any storm! it was an amazing site to see after the storm. The Church has just gotten into a new building (not on the same lot) these past months.
The Truhett's are on their way to the farm in Forest, MS today and praying that all will be well in Gulfport when they return.
We are not planning on leaving yet....we will see where the storm eventually heads. But, after the great escape a couple of years ago with Hurricane Rita ....no one wants to sit in traffic again like that! So, we are probably staying home, but, we will see if it gets to a 3 or 4 we might reconsider!
Have a great Labor Day Holiday and we look forward to next week being over and G U S T A V leaving the scene. I can't say GUSTAV, so, I'm spelling it!
