June 2009 has flown by this year, where did the time go? It seems we just got Lexis graduated and now it's the end of June.
A very HOT month for our area. Yesterday, my car temperature noted 109 degrees. I think that had to be the "feels like" temp. as it doesn't reach 109 in Houston.....it just "feels like" it does with the Texas humidity.
No Rain ~ the month of June is the wettest month on record for this area of Texas ~ we've had NaDa ! Zero ! Ziltch ! So, the back yard is suffering as we don't water it like we do the front yard.
Our Texas County is on burn ban and water rationing as well this June.
Finally got some rain the LAST day in June 2009....a few thunder storms rolled through our area.
Onward to July.......................
